Biographies
Between 1945 and 1950, a total of 28,455 people were held in Special Camp No. 2. 7,113 of them died during this period.
We have selected twelve different biographies for this exhibition. They provide a small insight into the prisoner community. These include men and women, old and young prisoners, NSDAP officials, and people who were not involved in politics.
The selection of biographies by gender, age, and reasons for imprisonment is not representative of their proportion of the entire camp society.
