Thomas Geve was one of the 904 children and adolescents who survived the concentration camp. Following the liberation he was given paper from the camp office – blank SS forms etc., for the most part 15 x 12 cm in size. He drew the world of the camp – everyday life, roll call, distribution of rations, labour, illness, SS terror – and produced surprisingly exact maps. The original drawings are in the art museum of Yad Vashem.
